Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) lets a local business mail every address on a postal carrier route without buying a mailing list. Restaurants, contractors, dentists, realtors, churches and schools use it to reach the neighborhoods around them.
EDDM pieces have to meet USPS size rules, carry the right indicia and be bundled and labeled correctly. We print EDDM postcards to those rules and our mailing department can prepare them, so your mail goes out right the first time.

Files and proofs

Questions
What size does an EDDM postcard have to be?
USPS treats EDDM pieces as flats. A piece qualifies if it is more than 11.5 inches long, or more than 6.125 inches high, or more than 0.25 inch thick, and no larger than 15 x 12 inches and 0.75 inch thick. That is why 6.25 x 9 and 6.25 x 11 are popular.
Do I need a mailing list?
No. EDDM delivers to every address on the carrier routes you choose, so there is no list to buy. You choose routes on the USPS EDDM map by ZIP code, household count and other filters.
How much is postage?
Postage is set by USPS and changes. Check the current EDDM price on usps.com. Your print quote covers printing and any mailing preparation; postage is paid to USPS.
Is there a limit on how many I can mail?
EDDM Retail has a daily limit per post office (5,000 pieces per ZIP Code per day per mailer at the time of writing). Larger campaigns can go through EDDM BMEU with a mailing permit. Ask us which fits your plan.
