Die cut
A die cut uses a shaped blade to cut paper or board into a custom shape or to cut out a window or slot.
Door hanger holes, pocket folders and shaped labels are die cut. A new shape may need a custom die, and that cost lands on the first order. Existing standard dies cost less to use, so ask what shapes are already available.
