Process color

Process color is full-color printing built from overlapping dots of cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink.

Photos and full-color designs print in process. A job can combine process with one or more spot colors, for example four-color photos plus a Pantone logo. That combination is sometimes written as 5/0 or 5/5.
