Safe area
The safe area is the zone inside the trim line where text and important artwork will not be cut off.
Keep text and logos at least 0.125 inch inside the trim. On booklets and anything with a mechanical binding, leave more on the binding edge. Borders that run close to the trim show any small variation in cutting, so give them generous room or drop them.
