Crop marks

Crop marks are short lines printed outside the page area that show where the sheet should be trimmed.

Let your design program add them when you export the PDF. Hand-drawn crop marks inside the artwork get printed. Make sure the marks are offset beyond the bleed so they do not land in the art.
